Whenever we tune in to the ratio, we listen to the sounds produced by invisible waves traveling through space at the speed of light. The radio plays a vital role in preserving people's right to information. Radios are mainly used to bring information and entertainment into homes.

Radio, as a source of information and entertainment, is useful and suitable for everyone in society. Whether the person is literate or illiterate; educated or uneducated, rich or poor, a leader or a follower can equally use it. The only thing one should have is a strong sense of hearing.

In the field of media, the radio is the cheapest means of communication available, even for a single dollar. Knowing about current global events through FM radio has become a way of life. Not only the news but also the interviews with celebrities—music of different flavors and the English used by radio jockeys—are also quite interesting.

The world's famous radio services like BBC and VOA have still been popular in the age of TV and computers. FM stations have made the radio popular among the young generation.
