Essay on Advertisement [Sample 1]:
Advertising is the process of creating and
distributing messages to promote the sale of goods or services. It is also used
to promote the image or reputation of a business, individual, or organization.
Advertising is one of the oldest forms of marketing, dating back to the ancient
world.
Advertising has come a long way since the days of
hand-painted billboards. Today, advertising is a sophisticated and well-funded
industry. It is used to reach a wide audience with messages that are tailored
to their interests.
Advertisements always try to attract the viewers' or
readers' attention. Therefore, advertisements use well-known personalities.
Humourous and strong catchy slogans are used on posters and TV for
advertisements so that they are repeated time and again in one's mind. When it
gets repeated, people remember the product, and the name of the product becomes
familiar to them.
These days, people are busy and they do not have
time to talk to each other about something. When they are free, they either
listen to the radio or watch TV. During a break, they see many ads and make up
their minds to buy or not. People easily trust the ads without question.
To sum up, in today's world, trade is only based on
advertising. Without ads, no new product, though it may have high quality,
cannot reach the customers.
